2008 Stroud Township Field Reservation Information 

 Stroud Township has approved the use of this ball field for community teams that have applied for usage and paid a fee towards maintenance to reserve the field.  A Schedule is posted but may not be up-to-date.  

 Individuals without field reservations must vacate the field to allow teams holding reservations to play at their designated times. The team coach should be able to display a letter of reservation authorization as proof that they have that time period. If no team is scheduled, the field can be used on a first come basis.

 If there is someone scheduled before your reservation time, please arrive no earlier than 5 to 10 minutes prior to your starting time, to allow time for the previous teams to move their players and cars out of the parking lot safely.

 If there is someone scheduled after you, please leave the park promptly (within 5 minutes) at the end of your reservation time in order to alleviate field conflicts and parking lot problems.

 Please do not move the bases from the posts.

 Please rake the in-field after you are finished your practice or game.

 The Applicant listed on the Reservation Application is responsible for requiring team players, opposing team members, and team spectators to follow park rules under Township Ordinance #2-2001.  A copy is on display on the bulletin board, and provided with the reservation application. 

 Park in designated parking areas only.

 Users must clean up the field and surrounding areas. Whatever trash does not fit into trashcans with the lid closed tightly must be taken with you.

 Please be courteous to other park users.

 Please call police immediately at 992-9911 or 9-1-1 if you observe someone vandalizing the park, and, please follow up with a call to our office at 570-421-3362.   If possible, get a car description and license plate number.  If the vandal is apprehended and prosecuted, you’ll receive a $1000. reward!

 Please notify us if porta-pots are not being maintained.

 Field reservations do not include exclusive use of the pavilion, but the pavilion may be used if there is no pavilion reservation posted.

 Reminder: No smoking, no alcohol and no profanities on park property.

 On occasion, the Park Maintenance Supervisor may determine that the field should not be played on to protect the turf after heavy rains or drought.  He will post a No Play sign and teams will be advised.
