      This year marks the fourth full year of Township ownership and operation of Glen Brook Golf Club. Since the October 2005 purchase, significant capital improvements to the golf course and its amenities have been made. We will continue to make improvements to make it one of the best courses to play in the area. Plans for this year include tree-trimming and removal to open up some of the fairways, and drainage improvements to Hole #10. We are now allowing uses of the property on some non-course areas, such as hiking, bird watching, fishing, and cross country skiing. A master plan prepared by Stroud Region Open Space and Recreation is available on the internet at www.srosrc.org/openspace.htm.
     A major change this year will involve the management of the golf course restaurant. Mr. Patrick Mullally, former owner/operator of Dansbury Depot, will be taking over the club house restaurant. It will have a new name, “Club House Café”, a new menu, and new personnel. It will cater to not only the membership and golfers, but also to the public. The Township looks forward to working with Pat and appreciates his enthusiasm for making the Glen Brook Golf Club and Club House Café the best that it can be!

Glen Brook Golf Club 2010 Memberships Now Available with Discount Rates
     The 2010 membership rates will remain the same as 2009. Those purchasing early will receive a discount. 
For new 2010 members, the discount period ends Dec. 22, 2009.  For current members, the discount period is extended until Feb. 15, 2010.

Single Membership Regular Fee is $650;  early is $600
Husband/Wife Membership Regular Fee is  $875;   early is $800
Family membership Regular Fee is $1100;  early is $1000
Junior (under 18)  Membership Regular Fee is $225;  early is  $200

Directions:
From New York: Take Rte. 80 west to Pennsylvania, exit at Exit 306 (Dreher Ave.) which is approximately 4 miles past the Delaware Water Gap toll bridge. Left onto Dreher Ave. About eight tenths of a mile up the road is a Y in the road. Bear left onto Glenbrook Road. Go two tenths of a mile to Glenbrook Golf Club.

From points west: Take Rte. 80 east to Exit 305 (Main Street). Turn right onto Main. Go to first traffic light. Make sharp right onto Dreher Avenue. Go 1 mile to Y in road. Bear left onto Glenbrook Road. Go two tenths of a mile to Glenbrook Golf Club.
