Political Signs
1. "Political Sign" as used in this Ordinance shall mean any and all political posters used or intended to be used for the display of any announcement, advertisement or notice of any individual candidates for any public office.
2. No person shall post any sign of any kind whatsoever upon public property or trees or utility poles within the Township of Stroud without written permission from the utility company or the property owner and making application and receiving a permit from the Township Secretary upon deposit of the Political Sign Bond as set forth in Section 9.1336, which deposit shall be returned to said person provided all of said signs have been removed from their postings within three (3) days following the election for which they were posted.
3. Such signs shall not be posted more than fifteen (15) days in advance of the election to which they pertain.
4. The maximum size of any one sign shall be three (3) square feet.
5. The maximum number of signs located in Stroud Township for each candidate shall be fifty (50).
6. Only one sign per candidate per property.
