Stroud Township Sewer Authority, a municipal authority, was incorporated on February 24, 1989 for the purpose of undertaking and over seeing the townships $29 million dollar sewer project. During the original 1989 sewer project, 35 miles of gravity sewer mains and laterals were installed. The Sewer Authority currently has a customer base of 2,513 (3,767 EDUs).
The Sewer Authority is a seven (7) member volunteer board appointed by the Board of Supervisors for a five year term.
Current appointed Sewer Authority members are: Arthur F. Schwedler, W. Richard Taitt, Seth Tanner, Richard Houloose, Angela McKenzie, and Helen Beers. Office Manager and Recording Secretary is Brenda Klein, Engineer is Reilly Associates, Solicitor is H. Clark Connor, Esq. and Alternate Solicitor is Richard Deetz, Esq.
Brenda Klein is the Sewer Authority Office Manager. The Sewer
Authority Office is located in the Stroud Township Municipal Center, 1211 North Fifth

Sewer fees have been reduced from $151.50 to a flat rate of $150.00 per EDU per quarter.
Meetings are held the fourth Monday of the month at 7:30 PM at the Stroud Township Municipal Center.
